Center East-West Graduate Degree Scholarships provide financial assistance for postgraduate study at the University of Hawaii (UH) in subjects related to the East-West Center’s (EWC) objectives and goals.

Awards for fellowships are given out every year in an international competition. The competition for the academic year 2024–2025 will accept applications beginning in early August and ending on December 1.

  1. If not enrolled already as a student at UH Mānoa, you must apply to the university for the fall semester by December 1.
  2. The University of Hawaii launches the application system on 1, August each year.
  3. Compile your supporting documents for both UH admissions office and department applications by January 10. even if the UH departmental deadline falls after that date.
